Scottish metalheads Mendeed have signed to Nuclear Blast. The band have also announced they’ll support Slayer on the UK/European ‘Unholy Alliance Tour’ at the end of the year.

Norwegian band ‘I‘ have signed to Nuclear Blast. The band – who include members of Immortal, Enslaved and Gorgoroth – will start recording their debut album at the end of April.

Bloc Party have chosen a producer for their upcoming second album.Tentatively titled ‘Urbanite Relaxation’, the follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Silent Alarm’, will be produced by former Compulsion guitarist now successful producer Jacknife Lee.

All That Remains are to release new album, ‘The Fall Of Ideals‘, in June. Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz, this’ll be on the Prosthetic label.
