Hopesfall have a new drummer. He’s Jason Trebue, who’s replaced Adam Baker. No reason has been given for this switch.

The X-Fest, due to happen on June 6 in Athens, has been cancelled. The Greek promoters say poor ticket sales are to blame. The bill was to include Dio, In Flames, Trivium and Hatebreed.

AFI fans, you may want to get four copies of the band’s new album ‘Decemberunderground‘, due out next week. Why? Because there are four different versions of the accompanying booklet, each featuring one member of the band on the cover.

Fall-Out Boy were unwittingly at the centre of a controversy, because of their song ‘Dance, Dance’. Plans were announced for this tРѕ be covered by a group of children, for the compilation album ‘Kidz Bop 10’. However, when it was pointed out that this featured overly sexual lyrics, the song was quickly dropped.

Brian Eno has re-united with his old band Roxy Music on their next album. Eno actually worked with the band last year writing two new tracks and playing keyboard on others for the follow up to 1982s Avalon. The as-yet-untitled album is being slated for an autumn release.

Nashville alt-country collective Lambchop will release its ninth studio album “Damaged” Aug. 22 via Merge Records. The 10-track set is the second commercial release for the group in 2006, following the B-sides and rarities compilation “The Decline of Country and Western Civilization Part II: The Woodwind Years.”

Despite reports that he’d quit the band, it seems that guitarist Rob Patterson is now back as Korn‘s touring guitarist. His place was taken for three shows by Fear Factory‘s Christian Olde Wolbers.

Drowning Pool have left the Wind-Up label. The band, currently fronted by former Soil man Ryan McCombs, will spend this Summer touring in America, before seeking a new record company deal.
